Details of Holy Week at St Leonards.
Holy Week at St. Leonard’s

Our final film for Lent is “Man Dancin’” which starts at 6.30pm on Palm Sunday.

There will be a special Guild evening reflecting Holy Week on Monday 6th April at 7.15pm in St. Leonard’s.

The Maundy Thursday Communion Services will begin at 6.30pm in St. Leonard’s.

A lunchtime service on Good Friday will begin at 12noon in St. Leonard’s.

The Worship Group are holding a Prayer Vigil in the church on Low Saturday between 6:00-9:00 pm. After the events of the week, leading up to the Crucifixion, this will be an opportunity for you to take time out and have a period of quiet time of personal prayer and meditation. There will also be prayer stations around the church where you can spend time in quiet reflection on your own personal relationship with God. We warmly invite you to come along and spend as much or as little time as you need and experience the quiet and tranquillity of our sanctuary.

Our Easter Day celebrations:
· Open air Easter service (and decorated egg rolling) at the bandstand in the Public Park at 8.30am, followed by
· Breakfast at St. Leonard’s at 9.30am (competition for children all ages and adults — decorate an Easter bonnet/bunnet), leading into
· The main Easter service at 11am in St. Leonard’s.
